Joyce Elaine Fiskin, 85, of Fairway, Kansas, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 25, 2024, at  Anthology of Olathe, Kansas under the care of Crossroads Hospice. She was born in Norton, Kansas on March 27, 1939. She graduated from high school in Stockton, Kansas.

  Phyllis Cecilia (Gottschalk) Murphy, age 83, formerly of Zurich, passed away on August 29, 2024, at the Good Samaritan Center in Ellis.

Sheryl Kay Gaines, 60, of Clay Center, passed away on August 26, 2024, at the Wesley Medical Center in Wichita. She was born on October 5, 1963, in Plainville, Kansas, to Max Keith and Melva Lorraine (Smith) Gaines.

Ruby Belle Hageman Mosher, 96, passed away Monday, August 26, 2024 at Redbud Village in Plainville. She was born July 20, 1928, in Stockton, Kansas to Edward C. VI and Jesse Rae Maris Hageman.

Todd J. Van Schuyver passed away on August 25, 2024, at his home in Plainville, at the age of 46. He was born to Anna Gravatt in Salina on January 12, 1978. He was adopted by David and Mary (Staab) Van Schuyver. Todd grew up in Plainville and graduated from Plainville High School in 1997.

Craig Alan Hitschmann, 64, of Natoma, passed away on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at Homestead of Russell Assisted Living in Russell, surrounded by his loving family.

Irvin Earl Goertzen, age 98, passed peacefully into the welcoming arms of Jesus in the early morning of August 18, 2024, at Bethesda Home in Goessel, Kansas. Born in Newton, Kansas on Memorial Day, May 30, 1926, to Henry S.

Patrick Alan “Pat” Thayer, Stockton, passed away on August 18, 2024, at Saint Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City, Mo., at the age of 67. He was born on November 12, 1956, to Austin R. and Imogene P. (Bird) Thayer in Omaha, Neb. He married Lorna Hahn on March 16, 1980, in Stockton.

Marianne Werner, of Codell, passed away on August 11, 2024, at the Olathe Hospice House in Olathe, Kansas, at the age of 54. She was born on May 9, 1970, to David and Ann (Weis) Miller in Salina, Kansas. Marianne grew up in Salina, Kansas.

Richard Werner, 92, passed away on August 9, 2024, at Via Christi in Hays. He was born May 25, 1932, in Plainville, Kansas, the son of Joseph and Nettie (Larson) Werner.
