Eric A. Hageman, 63, passed away on December 27, 2024, at his home in Topeka. He was born on July 16, 1961, in Plainville, the son of E. Charles and Beverly (Harris) Hageman.Eric graduated from Stockton High School in 1980.

Jimmie (Clark) Carswell, age 93, of Alton, Kansas, passed away at Russell Homestead Assisted Living in Russell on January 1, 2025. She was born to Sarah (O’Neill) Clark and A. Seaborn Clark on January 20, 1931, in Gateway, Arkansas.

Richard Warren Wood, age 92, passed away on December 31, 2024, at home in Pittsburg, Kansas, surrounded by his loving family.He was born on October 3, 1932, to Samuel Scott Wood and Edith D. Pearson Wood at their home in Stockton, Kansas.

Avis Venita (Roach) Walker, age 100, of Stockton, passed away on Friday, December 27, 2024, at Via Christi Village Care Center, Hays, Kansas.She was born November 22, 1924, in rural Osborne County, Kansas, to Orva and Lillian (Lampman) Roach.

Eunice Kathryn (Balthazor) Berland, 99, formerly of Zurich, passed away on December 29, 2024, at Via Christi Village in Hays, Kansas.

Elsie Marie Richmond, of Plainville, passed away on December 23, 2024, at the Rooks County Health Center in Plainville at the age of 97. She was born on March 1, 1927, to Joseph and Adeline (Stiverson) Weldon in Natoma, Kansas. She married Lee “Pops” Richmond, who was from Codell, Kansas, in 1959.
