Thomas “Richard” Yohon, 80, passed away on January 21, 2025, at his home in Stockton.He was born on September 21, 1944, to Lawrence G. and Margaret (Reedy) Yohon in Iola, Kansas. He married Linda L. Butcher on November 1, 1968, in Iola.

Sonja M. Ruder, formerly of Plainville, passed away on January 20, 2025, at the Via Christi Village in Hays at the age of 84.She was born in a car on January 6, 1941, in Stockton, Kansas, to Donald and Marion Florene (Hindman) Grieve.

George Warren Riffel, 63, passed away on January 17, 2025, at the Hays Medical Center in Hays, Kansas.He was born on October 25, 1961, in Plainville, Kansas, the son of Warren and Darlene (Naiman) Riffel.George was a stockman and oil pumper. He was a member of the Cattleman’s Association and NRA.

Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, Carolyn passed away peacefully at home after a brief illness. Carolyn was born into a large family in Kansas and moved to Tucson from Nebraska with her husband and two children in 1973, settling into what is now Oro Valley.
