Edna Bernice Frenzl, age 89, of Hays, Kansas, passed away on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at her home.She was born on April 7, 1936, in rural Graham County, Kansas, to Henry and Mable (Rolland) Kolste. She married Lawrence “Larry” Frenzl on August 29, 1952, in Bentonville, Arkansas.

Carlene (Barlow) Bryant, of Stockton and formerly of Quinter, passed away on July 21, 2025, at the Logan County Senior Living in Oakley, Kansas, at the age of 75. Carlene was born on November 29, 1949, to Robert “Joe” and Ruth (Stephenson) Barlow in Amarillo, Texas.

Lorna Lee (Vogel) Green, age 64, of Phillipsburg, passed away Friday evening, July 11, 2025, at Phillips County Retirement Center. She was born February 23, 1961, at Phillips County Hospital, the daughter of the late Arnold and Bonnie (Smith) Vogel, of Phillipsburg, Kansas.

Irene Marie LaBarge, 88, a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 7, 2025, at home in Ellis, surrounded by her family.She was born March 18, 1937, to George and Alma (Brin) Newell in Damar.

Kathy Rae (McNulty) Wanker, aged 71, passed away on May 31, 2025, in Wichita, Kansas.Born on September 9, 1953, Kathy was known for her vibrant zest for life and her love for crafts. She cherished the companionship of her pets and deeply valued the time spent with her family.

Lucy Vontrice Kennedy, born on October 13, 1926, in Garfield, Arkansas, passed away peacefully at the age of 98 at Homestead Assisted Living of Russell, Kansas, on July 4, 2025. She was the beloved middle daughter of John Seaburn and Sarah Elizabeth (O'Neil) Clark.

John “Jack” William Couse, 82, passed away at his home in Plainville on June 21, 2025. He was born on December 2, 1942, to Arthur and Eleanor (Carr) Couse in Syracuse, New York. On August 22, 1964, Jack married Barbara Hollar at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Plainville.
