Earl L. Chesney, age 71, of Natoma, Kansas, passed away Sunday, January 16, 2022, at the Redbud Village in Plainville. He was born May 27, 1950, in Hays, Kansas. He was one of five sons born to Homer Bruce and Eileen (Meyers) Chesney. He grew up in Natoma and graduated from Natoma High School.

Ray Dobson, age 86, Hays, was swept up by angels on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, to go to his eternal home to be with Jesus.

Glenda Lee Goheen, age 63, of Hays, passed away Monday, January 17, 2022, at Hays Medical Center. She was born September 16, 1958, at Plainville, Kansas, to Glen F. and Geraldine J. (Couture) Warren. She married Darrel Goheen on September 8, 1984, at Hays, Kansas.

Mary Elaine Lawson, age 70, of Hays, Kansas died Sunday, January 16, 2022, at Locust Grove Assisted Living Center, LaCrosse, Kansas.   She was born September 9, 1951, at Stockton, Kansas to Myron F. and Gladys Mae (Bailey) McDowell. She married David E. Lawson on March 1, 1972, at Beloit, Kansas.

Noelle Louise Vohs, Brownell, Kan., passed away on Monday, January 17, 2022, from a short battle with cancer at Hays Medical Center, at the age of 56.

Al was a beloved husband, father, grandpa and a special friend to many in the Verdes Community and around the country. Forrest Alan Stamper, age 78, of Tonto Verde, Ariz., passed away on Saturday, January 8, 2022 following a lengthy illness.

Former Bogue resident, Shirley I. Huey, age 86, of Manhattan, passed away on Tuesday, January 11th, 2022 at her home in Manhattan. She was retired from KSU Vet Science as an Animal Care Intake.

Gisela Eckart, Chico, Calif., passed away Tuesday, November 16, 2021, after a brief illness at the age of 94.

September 19, 1931- January 8, 2022 Priscilla Ruth (Pat) Paschal was born in Osborne County, Kansas to Walter and Eva Paschal, joining older siblings Vincent, Jean and William.

Cloyd B. Steeves, 89 of Panama, Nebraska, passed away Tuesday, December 21, 2021. Cloyd was born on December 1, 1932 to Irwin and Mildred Steeves. He graduated from Panama High School and Milford Trade School. He was owner of Electronic Certified for 20 plus years.
