Body Marlin Gene “Mark” Foster, of Stockton, passed away on Tuesday, June 29, 2021, at the Hays Medical Center in Hays, Kansas at the age of 84. He was born to Ivan and Emma (Ziems) Foster on March 19, 1937, in Seward, Nebraska.

Body David Lee Schneider, 88, of WaKeeney, passed away July 1, 2021. He was born in Norton, Kansas, on February 8, 1933, to Abe and Ethel (Jameson) Schneider. He graduated from Norton Community High School and received his bachelor’s degree at Kansas State University.

Body David Lee Schneider, age 88, of WaKeeney, Kansas, passed away Thursday, July 1, 2021, at Trego County Lemke Memorial Hospital Long Term Care. Services are pending with Schmitt Funeral Home, WaKeeney.

Body Former Stockton resident, Ruth Eloise Jackson, age 93, of Salina, passed away Friday, June 25th, 2021.  She was born in Stockton, Kansas on September 16, 1927, a daughter of the late Betsy (Chandler) and Earl Hance.

Body Lewis Marcell Stephen, age 71, of Hays, Kansas passed away Monday, June 21st. He was born on January 3, 1950, in Stockton, Kansas to Lewis Harold Stephen and Glennys Faye (Reed) Stephen. They lived on the family farm along Bow Creek in Rooks County.

Body Michael Homer Schoeller, age 74, passed away June 20, 2021, at Ascension Via Christi St. Francis, Wichita. He was born May 10, 1947, to Fred and Lucy Vontrice (Clark) Schoeller, in Hays.

Body John “J.R.” Henry Russ, Jr. passed away on June 18, 2021, at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita at the age of 80. He was born on April 10, 1941 in Leavenworth, Kansas and was adopted by John Henry, Sr. and Florence (Steerman) Russ. J.R. married Judith K. Olson on May 28, 1961.

Body Braden “Bubba” Ford Higdon passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2021 in rural Rooks County, Kansas at the age of 23. He was born in Hays, Kansas to Misty (Jenkins) and Brad Higdon on September 22, 1997.

Body Bill Van Schuyver, age 59, passed away on Thursday, June 10, 2021 at his home in Omaha, Nebraska. He was born on June 26, 1961 to Aud and Betty (Mason) Van Schuyver in Perryton, Texas.

Body Max Alwyn Porter, 89 years of age, of Alma, Neb. passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at the Harlan County Health System in Alma. Max was born on April 8, 1931, at home in Albion, Neb., the seventh of eight children, born to Don and Grace (Wilson) Porter.
