Former Stockton resident, Robert James “Bob” Creighton, Wilson, N.C., passed away November 17, 2021, at his home at the age of 75.

He was born July 15, 1946 in Hays, Kan., to Alex and Frances Creighton. He was the youngest son of seven children.

As a youth, Bob was active in Boy Scouts and outdoor activities. He graduated from Hays High School in 1964. In 1969 he married Kathy Leikam. They made their home in Stockton and raised two sons, Jason and Justin. He enjoyed many hobbies such as hunting, camping, riding motorcycles, shooting black powder, coin collecting and many others. He worked for K.D.O.T. until retirement. The summer of 2000, he moved to Wilson, N.C., where he enjoyed spending time with his family there.

He is survived by his wife, Terry, of the home; a sister, Martha (John) Bethka, Syracuse, N.Y.; a brother Keith (Gail) of Sonora, Calif.; sons, Jason (Rebecca) and Justin (Fielzah) of Stockton and Brad Daniels of Wilson, N.C.; and daughter, Denise Daniels of Wilson, N.C.; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by an infant brother, Frank; his parents; his brothers, Alex and Don; his sister, Ivy; and an infant granddaughter, Jannah.

Per his request, no service will be held. His remains will be laid to rest in Evergreen Cemetery, Goldsboro, N.C.
