Jesse James Swaney, San Diego, Calif., passed away on December 10th, 2021, at the age of 35 at Sharpe Grossmont Hospital in San Diego due to heart failure. He was born on May 28, 1986 to Ray and Correna (Winters) Swaney in Phillipsburg. Jesse was a 2004 graduate of Stockton High School.

Emma “Granny Arlene” (Richardson) Wetzler, Stockton, passed away on December 15, 2021, at the Rooks County Health Center in Plainville, at the age of 95. She was born on June 21, 1926, to Mack and Emma (Baird) Richardson in Luray. She married Gerald Richard Wetzler on May 23, 1947, in Salina.

Selena Elizabeth Rogers, Smolan, Kan., passed away on December 8, 2021, at Salina Regional Health Center in Salina, at the age of 60.  She was born on June 19, 1961, to Eugene and Juanita (Pittman) Glisson in Vidalia, GA.

Matthew “Matt” Craig Marsh, Woodston, passed away on December 3, 2021, in Woodston at the age of 43. He was born on January 23, 1978, to Dennis and LeaAnn (Cooper) Marsh in Denver, Colo. 

Larry D. Lala, Kirwin, Kan., passed away on December 2, 2021, at the Rooks County Health Center in Plainville, at the age of 84. He was born on October 2, 1937, to Theodore and Hallie (Newbrey) Lala in Hays, Kan. Larry married Elizabeth “Betty” Ann Vohs on June 2, 1956, in Osborne, Kan.

Milan Spencer Masters, age 85, of Natoma, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 23, 2021. He was a lifelong resident and supporter of the Natoma community.  He was born September 12, 1936 to Cecil and Lucille (McClellan) Masters on the homestead south of Natoma.

Richard Allen Lemon, age 79, of Plainville, passed away on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at the Rooks County Health Center. He was born on December 13, 1941 to Floyd and Lucille (Highley) Lemon in Phillips County Valley Township, Kansas.

Karen Sue Vanhoose, age 71, of Plainville, was taken all too soon from this world on Tuesday, November 23, 2021, in Ponca City, Oklahoma. She was born on July 8, 1950, in Plainville, Kansas to Eldon and Gola (Brokaw) Williams.

Judy (Bane) Maze passed away on November 21, 2021 in Wichita, Kan., with family by her side. She was born March 14, 1937 in Rooks County, Kan., to Louria (Stice) Bane and Lennie Bane.
