Jesse James Swaney, San Diego, Calif., passed away on December 10th, 2021, at the age of 35 at Sharpe Grossmont Hospital in San Diego due to heart failure.
He was born on May 28, 1986 to Ray and Correna (Winters) Swaney in Phillipsburg.
Jesse was a 2004 graduate of Stockton High School. He spent the last ten years living in San Diego where he loved being by the ocean, playing in the water, taking pictures, and giving old furniture new life. Jesse was very creative.
He is preceded in death by his grandpa, Jack Swaney, and grandma, Ruth Winters.
He leaves behind his parents, Ray and Correna Swaney of Stockton; grandmother, Donna Swaney, Stockton; a brother, Joshua of Stockton; a sister, Janassa (Jesse) Prockish of Stockton; and four beautiful nieces, Madelyn, Jessalyn, Raylyn, and Jolynn Swaney; numerous aunts, uncle, cousins and friends.
A Celebration of Jesse's Life will be held this Friday, January 14, 2022, at 2:00 p.m., at Stockton City Hall.
A Jesse Swaney Memorial Fund has been set up at Solutions North Bank in Stockton. Funds will go toward his four nieces and future nieces and nephews for college.
