Glenda Lee Goheen

Glenda Lee Goheen, age 63, of Hays, passed away Monday, January 17, 2022, at Hays Medical Center.

She was born September 16, 1958, at Plainville, Kansas, to Glen F. and Geraldine J. (Couture) Warren. She married Darrel Goheen on September 8, 1984, at Hays, Kansas.

She worked in the Commercial Printing Department for the Hays Daily News for over 20 years. She also worked for her father at Glen’s Auto Parts in Hays at the parts counter and delivery for a number of years. After leaving the Hays Daily News she worked with her husband at Total Video. Glenda grew up in Plainville and Hays, and was a 1976 graduate of Hays High School.

She enjoyed camping with their friends, going to Darrel’s car races, being a caregiver for her dad, and her pride and joy was her grandchildren and her family.

Survivors include her husband, Darrel Goheen, of the home; her daughters, Pamela Baumfalk and husband, Don, Hays, and Danel Wolcott, Hays; her father, Glen F. Warren, Hays; her sisters, Darcy Becker and husband, Jerry, Hays, and LaDonna Jo Lundy and husband, Rodney, Fort Worth, Texas; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jim and Janice Goheen, Downs; and four grandchildren, Dylan Goheen, Cameron Hunt, Kenzie Wolcott, and Colton Wolcott.

Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 20, 2022, at Celebration Community Church, exit 157 and I-70, Hays, Kansas with Pastor Brant Rice officiating. A private family burial will be at Fort Hays Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Hays.

Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Celebration Community Church.
