In last week’s issue it was reported that a fire call for the Stockton Fire Department was to the Mike Townley residence. It should have read that Mike Townley called in the fire on Saturday, February 5th, which was located at the Kenneth Jones residence.

Tierney Kester, Topeka, is among the more than 850 students qualified for the fall 2021 Dean’s List at Washburn University. To qualify for the Dean’s List, a student must be enrolled in 12 hours of graded credits and earn a semester grade point average of 3.4 to 3.99.

Nearly 4,480 Kansas State University students have earned semester honors for their academic performance in the fall 2021 semester, four of which come from Rooks County. Students earning a grade point average for the semester of 3.
