Washburn University has announced its spring 2023 Dean's List honorees. To qualify for the Dean's List, a student must be enrolled in 12 hours of graded credits and earn a semester grade point average of 3.4 to 3.99.

Anthony Cole, the science teacher at Stockton High School, recently completed a Seed to STEM workshop sponsored by the Kansas Corn Commission. The Seed to STEM workshop provided 60 science teachers with classroom lessons and lab exercises to teach about corn, biotechnology, and ethanol.

June is Great Outdoors Month, and what better way than to spend the day by the lake, having fun and learning about nature? Fish and turtles were caught at the Outdoor Adventure Day Camp on Tuesday, June 6th, at the Rooks State Fishing Lake.
