The Hobart Homemakers FCE group met Monday, May 22, 2023, at the Stockton Church of the Restoration at 7 p.m. Susan G. opened with the flag salute. Roll call was, 'What type of social media do you use?' Nine ladies answered it.

Overhead: “What was that wet stuff falling out of the sky last Thursday?” Tony Turnbull (Elk City, Okla.): “I always look forward to listening to John Berkley’s speech at the Memorial Day Service at the cemetery.”.

The United States Geological Survey (USGS) reported a 3.2 magnitude earthquake in north central Kansas on Wednesday, May 24th, at 3.22 p.m. It happened less than 7.5 miles south/southwest of Alton.
