Body The Rooks County Landfill Spring Clean-Up is set for next Saturday, April 29th, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Waste items will be accepted free of charge that day. Please look at the ad in this week’s issue for what will be accepted and how it should be separated.

Body It’s almost here, the Spring Into Stockton Jubilee! This fun-filled event is this Saturday, April 22nd, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Body The Rooks County Courthouse’s Centennial Celebration is this Thursday, April 20th. The program will be held at 1:00 p.m. on the east Courthouse lawn. Refreshments will be served following the program.

Body It’s time for the Spring Shootout Demo Derby this Saturday, April 22nd, at the Rooks County Fairgrounds! The event will begin at 6:30 p.m., with the pit gates opening at 4:30 p.m. (The inspection line closes at 6:00 p.m.) Spectator admission is $15.

Body Monday—French toast sticks with syrup, fruit, juice, milk. Tuesday—Yogurt parfait, fruit, juice, milk.

Body All are invited to the Rooks County Historical Society and Museum’s annual membership meeting this Sunday, April 16th, at 2:00 p.m. located at 921 South Cedar, Stockton, Kansas.

Body The Spring Into Stockton Jubilee will be here before you know it! The Stockton Area Chamber of Commerce invites everyone to enjoy the family fun at the event on Saturday, April 22nd, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
