The Daily Grind (303 Main in Stockton) will be closed on their regular days on Sunday and Monday, December 24th and December 25th, and Tuesday, December 26th, for their Christmas holiday. Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas.

The Farmers Union Mercantile and Shipping Association in Stockton (323 South Cedar) will be closed on Monday, December 25th, in observance of Christmas, and Monday, January 1st, in observance of the New Year.

Solutions North Bank in Stockton will be closed for Christmas on Monday, December 25th. They will reopen on Tuesday, December 26th.

Since 1986, the RCH Auxiliary has sponsored a scholarship fundraiser during the Christmas season - the Annual Memorial Tree Lighting.

The Stockton area churches have planned special Christmas services to help celebrate the “real reason for the season.” The public is welcome to attend all these special services.

The upcoming Christmas and New Year’s Holidays are not going to be a pleasant ones this year when it comes to getting out a paper. With the holidays falling on Mondays this year, our deadlines are going to be much earlier than normal.

Plan to attend the Farmers National Bank Holiday Open House in Stockton (306 South Cedar Street) on Monday, December 18th, during regular business hours. There will be refreshments of cookies and drinks, plus drawings for prizes at the end of the day.
