Body Make plans now to participate in the 4-H Silent Food Auction to be held during the Rooks County Free Fair. The ten items for auction will be on display in Harding Hall and ready for bids by Monday evening, August 5th.

Body 183 Lanes in Stockton will be open Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday (August 5th, August 7th, and August 8th) from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. On Tuesday, August 6th, they will be open from 11:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Body The Daily Grind in Stockton will have a food trailer at the Rooks County Fairgrounds by the Sutor-Blauer Arena on Monday, August 5th, through Friday, August 9th, from 7:00 a.m. until noon during the judging sessions.

Body The menus for the week beginning Monday, July 29, are as follows: Monday—Tuna salad sandwich, tomato soup, cookie, bun, strawberries. Tuesday—Beef pot roast, mashed potatoes, seasoned carrots, bread, cantaloupe. Wednesday— Teriyaki chicken, rice, broccoli, peaches.

Body The Stockton Area Chamber of Commerce will host a Business Bingo this Saturday, July 27th, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Body The River Valley Church will give away backpacks and school supplies at the Stockton USD #271 enrollment on Monday, July 29th, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The Church is excited to give back to the community through this outreach. Come and see them on enrollment day!

Body It’s going to be “A Barn Good Time!” at the Graham County Fair (Friday, July 26th through Wednesday, July 31st) and Jayhawker Roundup Rodeo (Monday, July 29th through Wednesday, July 31st)!

Body There will be a government surplus commodities distribution on Monday, July 22nd, for those in the Stockton and Plainville areas. The distribution will be held in Stockton on Monday, July 22nd, from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the VFW Hall.
