Body It’s time once again to scare up some spooky fun at the Stockton PUMPKIN PATCH, which will pop up in the Stockton City Park located on West Highway 24, on Saturday, October 12th, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Body It’s time to start thinking about ideas and preparing for the 40th annual Parade of Christmas Trees at the Stockton Public Library!

Body Calling all sixth- through twelfth-grade students to the River Valley Church at 120 South Spruce on Friday, October 11th, for the 60 Minutes Football Overtime. Plan to have some fun with your friends after Stockton’s home football game with a meal, devotions, and games.

Body Now is the time to do your fall cleaning! The Stockton Citywide Cleanup (inside city limits customers only) will be held during the week of Monday, October 14th through Friday October 18th.

Body The menus for the week beginning Monday, September 30, are as follows: Monday—Pork cube steak, stewed tomatoes, bread, tropical fruit. Tuesday through Friday’s menus were not made available prior to press time.

Body NOTICE: There have been no menus made available to the Sentinel for the past few weeks. As with our work, we are always working ahead a week. If the menus become available to us, then you will see them in the Sentinel.

Body The Heartland Community Foundation, dedicated to supporting Ellis, Rooks, and Trego counties, is excited to announce the opening of its fall grant cycle. As of September 15, applications can be submitted online until 11:59 p.m.

Body The family of Daryl and Dee Thornburg request a Card Shower to honor them on their upcoming 50th Wedding Anniversary. Daryl Thornburg and Dee Niermeier were married on September 27, 1974, at the Grace Lutheran Church in Atwood by Pastor Steube.

Body Rooks County Regional Airport (RCP) has been selected as a stop along the 2024 Kansas Aviation Tour. This free, fun, and educational event aims to introduce youth to the amazing world of aviation.
