What's Happening

There will be a government surplus commodities distribution on Monday, July 22nd, for those in the Stockton and Plainville areas. The distribution will be held in Stockton on Monday, March 24th, from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the VFW Hall. Please enter through the front door at 314 Main Street.

The menus for the week beginning Monday, March 24, are as follows: Monday—Chicken strips, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, bread, tropical fruit. Tuesday— Hamburger patty with lettuce, tomato, and onion, macaroni salad, bun, applesauce.

The regular monthly meeting of the Rooks County Health Center Board of Directors will be held on Tuesday, March 25th, at 6:00 p.m. in the hospital’s meeting room. The public is encouraged to attend.

The menus for the week beginning Monday, March 17, are as follows: Monday—Chicken patty sandwich, California blend vegetables, bun, emerald pears, cookie. Tuesday—Oven-baked chicken, scalloped potatoes, broccoli, bread, cinnamon apples.

The Stockton Food Pantry will be open next Thursday, March 20th, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

Mark your calendars now for the annual Solomon Valley Pheasants Forever Banquet. This eagerly-anticipated event will be held on Saturday, April 5th at the St. Thomas Parish Center (804 Main Street) in Stockton.
