There will be a government surplus commodities distribution on Monday, September 22nd, for those in Stockton from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the VFW Hall. Please enter through the front door at 314 Main Street.

A project to resurface a portion of U.S. 283 is underway in Norton County.

The menus for the Frank Walker Senior Center for the week beginning Monday, September 15, are as follows: Monday— Chicken strips, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, bread, tropical fruit. Tuesday—Closed for Annual Training.

Just a reminder that the Stockton Food Pantry is open every third Thursday of the month from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The Food Pantry is located at 602 Main Street in the building behind the Main Street Christian Church Parsonage.

The September 18th Sentinel will include our annual SHS Homecoming Feature, with individual pictures of the Tiger athletes (football, volleyball, and cross country), cheer, dance, and coaching staff, sponsored by local merchants, organizations, and individuals.

Dr. R. Douglas Hurt, one of the nation's top historians, will be the guest speaker for the newly organized Western Kansas Reading Room located at the Rooks County Historical Society and Museum in Stockton, Kansas on September 7, 2025, at 2:00 P.M.

The Stockton Public Library is excited to announce a wide variety of free programs and events for youth and adults this fall. Continuing its mission to provide a safe and engaging space for the community, the Library invites residents to learn, connect, and grow through its upcoming offerings.
