Santa’s elves will not want to miss this opportunity to check things off Santa’s list. Sugarplum Market, Hill City’s annual arts and crafts fair, will be held Saturday, November 20, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Those who are wanting to start their holiday shopping, buy baked goods for the upcoming holidays, purchase home décor, clothing, or gifts will not be disappointed in the vendors for this year’s market. Visitors will find both buildings at the Graham County Fairgrounds and the gym at Hill City Grade School full of craftsmen, artists, and direct sales vendors.

The regular monthly meeting of the Rooks County Health Center Board of Directors will be held on Tuesday, November 23rd at 6:00 p.m. in the hospital’s meeting room. The public is encouraged to attend.

The Dedication of the Veterans Memorial, located in the northeast corner of the Stockton City Cemetery, is this Thursday, November 11th at 2:00 p.m. This memorial, which was spearheaded by the VFW Auxiliary, now marks the veterans cemetery with four metal kneeling soldiers with the service branches attached to the impressive entrance. This will be a lasting tribute to all those who have served our country. Please make plans to attend.
