The Stockton Junior High Tigers traveled to Agra last Thursday to take on Thunder Ridge. The Tigers won three of the four games played with the Lady Tigers winning the A- and B-Team contests 34-18 and 14-8, respectively.

The Kansas State High School Activities Association recently released the sites for the regional wrestling tournaments. The Lady Tiger Wrestlers will go to Russell for the 3-1A Wrestling Tournament on February 14 and 15.

Atwood-Rawlins County High School will host the Class 1A Div I Basketball Region Tournament on February 24 through March 8, with the sub-state finals to be held at the Colby Event Center in Colby on March 7 and 8. Teams competing with Stockton are: Atwood-Rawlins County HS; Claflin- Central Plains HS; Downs-Lakeside HS; Ellis HS; La Crosse HS; Ness City HS; Oberlin- Decatur Community HS; Osborne HS; Quinter HS; St. Francis HS; and Tribune-Greeley County HS.

The District Knights of Columbus Free Throw Contest was held in Plainville on Sunday, February 2nd. After the event, eleven had claimed their spot to move on to the Regional Contest in Quinter on Sunday, February 16th.

Stockton senior Ashlyn Hahn continues to leave her mark wherever she goes, most recently being named Most Outstanding Wrestler at the Nickerson Tournament held last Friday. Hahn retained her unblemished record en route to her first-place finish at 130.

Emerson Lowry placed fourth at 157 at the 2025 Beloit Invitational held in Beloit on Friday and Saturday. Lowry, a senior, was the only Tiger place, going 3-2 on the day. He owns a 21-7 record this season. Others competing for Stockton, but not placing were: Calder Elmer (120), Cameron Balthazor (132), and Ryan Mongeau (285).
