Stockton Junior High hosted a wrestling round robin last Thursday with teams from Smith Center, Osborne, Ellis, and Hoxie participating. Chloe Kuhlmann, a Stockton seventh grader, was the only competitor for the Tigers.

With the regular season winding down, the Stockton Tiger basketball teams had a busy week, hosting Osborne, Sylvan-Lucas and St. John’s-Tipton on Monday, Tuesday and Friday of last week. The Stockton boys were able to pick up a win over Osborne, but the Lady Tigers fell in all three of their outings.

State-Bound! Stockton and St. Thomas Parish was well represented at the Regional Knights of Columbus Free Throw Contest in Quinter on February 16th, with five boys in the mix after winning in their age division at the District meet a few weeks ago.

Six Lady Tiger Wrestlers made the podium at the Panther Classic held in Philipsburg last Friday, earning them a third-place team plaque at its end. Oakley won the Classic with a total of 163.5 points, Norton was second with 157.5 points, and Stockton finished third with 111.5 points.
