It has been a long time since Stockton High School could lay claim to a state wrestling champion. Chris Pulec last accomplished that feat back in 2005, but despite qualifying several wrestlers to the state tourney in the years since, they have all fallen short until this season, when senior Ashlyn Hahn stood atop the podium at 130 pounds.

Basketball seasons end for SHS Tiger teams

The basketball season came to an end for the Stockton High School girls and boys teams last week. The Lady Tigers started off the week with a 43-38 win over Ness City on Monday, advancing them to a matchup with top-seeded Claflin-Central Plains on Saturday. The Lady Tigers fell in that contest by the score of 63-29. It was the final game for seniors Aubrey Kelser, Ava Dix, Brin Muir, and Bodye Stithem. The girls finished with a record of 11-11 on the season.
