RoCo Softball falls to Republic Co. and Beloit

After picking up their first win of the season against Ness City, the RoCo Softball Team ended up falling on the road to Republic County 7-22 and 1-14 on Tuesday, April 29, and at home to Beloit 0-16, 1-18 on Friday, May 2. Their season record stands at 1-13.

SHS Track Team competes at Plainville Invitational

The Stockton Tiger Track Team competed in the Plainville Invitational last Tuesday where junior Cheyenne Hoeting not only got a PR in the 3200 Meter Run, but she also took first place and broke her own school record with a time of 12:38.94. Also getting a PR on the day was Saj Snyder, who finished first in the 300 Meter Hurdles with a time of 50.04.

RoCo girls pick up first win of the season

The RoCo Cardinals picked up their first win of the season last Tuesday, downing the visiting Ness City Lady Eagles 19-4 in the second game of their doubleheader to improve to 1-9. The first game was an exciting one, but RoCo ended up falling 21-18.

The Stockton Junior High Girls (7th and 8th graders) claimed a big win at the Northern Valley Junior High Husky Invitational track meet held at Tiger Stadium in Stockton on Thursday, April 17. The Lady Tigers, who compiled a score of 157 points, outdistanced their nearest opponent, Logan, by 80 points.

The Stockton Junior High Invitational track meet was held last Tuesday at Tiger Stadium. Both girls’ teams finished second inthemeet,withmany impressive performances. Seventh grader Ava McCoy captured three individual golds, as did eighth graders Adrienne McCoy and Lyllyn McNulty.
