Four Tigers win gold medals at home meet

Four Tigers, Ava Dix, Cheyenne Hoeting, Saj Snyder and Vincent Thayer each won at least one gold medal at the Stockton Invitational held last Tuesday at Tiger Stadium. Dix won both the 100 and 200 Meter Dashes, Hoeting placed first in the 1600 Meter Run, Snyder brought home gold in the 300 Meter Hurdles, and V.

Tigers compete at Hill City Invitational

Last Thursday, the Stockton Tiger Track Team participated in the Hill City Invitational along with 20 other teams. The Lady Tigers ended up tying for 12th with Plainville. The Ness City girls and Smith Center boys won the meet.

SJH Girls Teams place third at Lakeside Meet

Last Thursday the Stockton Junior High Tigers traveled to Osborne for a track meet hosted by Lakeside. The Tiger girls teams won their share of gold medals en route to each placing third out of the nine teams competing. The 6th- and 7th-Grade boys finished seventh.

With a team of just three girls, the Stockton Lady Tigers finished fourth at the Hoxie Invitational held last Friday, while Stockton’s four boys placed seventh. The meet was the season opener for the Tigers.

Iwanski wins state powerlifting title for third consecutive year

Stockton High School senior Cason Iwanski won his third consecutive powerlifting title at the 2025 KEMFA (Kansas Eight-Man Football Association) State Powerlifting Championships held last Saturday in Claflin. Despite having battled illness prior to the competition, Iwanski placed first in both the Bench (250 lbs.), and Clean, tying the state record in the Clean with a lift of 295 lbs.
CASON IWANSKI, spotted by Coach Justin Basart, tied the state record in Clean (295 lbs.), and also set a new school record.

RoCo Softball lose to Ellis Railers

The RoCo Softball Team fell to 0-4 on the season after losing a doubleheader against the Ellis Lady Railers at home. RoCo fell in the first game 23-1, and, although they scored 14 runs, the Lady Cardinals dropped the second matchup 27-14.
