Body Stockton’s Baccalaureate will be at the Nova Theatre on Wednesday, May 10th, at 7:00 p.m. Eric Overmiller will share the message, and a slideshow of the 2023 SHS Seniors will be shown.

Body Plans by the Red Line Cruisers Car Club for its 7th Annual Cruise Night and Car Show are shaping up to provide another great weekend. Cruise Night is on Friday, May 5th, and the Car Show is on Saturday, May 6th.

Body The Plainville High School Alumni Banquet will be held on Saturday, May 27th, at the Plainville School Cafeteria. The doors will open at 5:00 p.m.

Body The menus for the week beginning Monday, May 1, are as follows: Monday— Ground beef stroganoff, brussel sprouts, bread, hot cinnamon applesauce. Tuesday— Ham and beans, spinach salad, cornbread, mandarin oranges.

Body The iconic 1973 movie, “Paper Moon,” was filmed in and around this part of Kansas over 50 years ago and will be celebrated at the historic Nova Theatre this Sunday, April 30th, with a FREE 2:00 p.m. matinee.

Body The Rooks County Health Center’s annual meeting and board elections will occur on Friday, May 5th, at 6:00 p.m. The election will be for one seat on the RCH Board of Directors.

Body It’s time to do your spring cleaning! A citywide cleanup (city limits only) will be held during the week of May 1st through May 5th.
