…A Review Of This Week’s Movie Length of Movie: 110 minutes; Rated PG SUMMER SHOWTIMES • Friday, Saturday, & Sunday at 7:00 p.m.

A regular USD 271 Board of Education Meeting will be held on Monday, July 10, at the District Office beginning at 5:30 p.m.

It’s time to sign up for Stockton Recreation’s 4th Annual 3-Man Scramble Golf Tournament. The event will be held on Saturday, July 22nd, at the Rooks County Golf Course, with registration to begin at 8:00 a.m. The shotgun start is 9:00 a.m. The cost is $150.00 per team.

To remain open during lunch hour Monday to Thursday The Rooks County District Court began operating under new hours effective Friday, June 16, 2023. The Rooks County Commission recently authorized closing the courthouse at noon every Friday.

The menus for the week beginning Monday, July 3, are as follows: Monday— Chicken strips, hashbrown casserole, mixed vegetables, bread, pineapple. Tuesday—Closed for the Fourth. Wednesday— Polish sausage, parslied potatoes, California blend vegetables, bread, applesauce.

If you’re wanting your Senior picture used for our annual window display, please pick them up during the Stockon Sentinel’s business hours. Our door is open Mondays and Thursday from 9-12 and 1-5, but if those days don’t work with your schedule, we are here Monday through Friday.

The Stockton Sentinel will be closed Monday, July 3rd, and Tuesday, July 4th, in observance of the holiday. Please note that our deadline for the Thursday, July 6th issue is this Friday, June 30th at noon.
