The Rooks County Senior Center menus for the week beginning Monday, July 13, are as follows: Monday— Smothered chicken, parslied potatoes, green beans, bread, pineapple. Tuesday—Frito chili cheese pie, California blend vegetables, fruit cobbler, pudding.

Plainville Served 11:30 to 12:30 Week of July 13 Lunch Monday—Chili/cheese nachos, fresh baby carrots with Ranch, fruit, milk. Tuesday—Italian pasta bake, roll, peas, fruit, milk.

Plainville Served 11:30 to 12:30 Week of July 6 Lunch Monday—Beef stroganoff, green beans, roll, fruit, milk. Tuesday—Bean and cheese burrito with lettuce and cheese, tater tots, fruit, milk.

It's Vacation Bible School time at the Stockton Methodist Church! The Illumination Station is for ages pre-K to 5th grade, and will be held from Monday, July 6th, through Thursday, July 9th, at the Stockton Methodist Church (204 North Elm Street) from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

All are welcome to the Natoma American Legion on Thursday, July 2nd, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, and to enjoy homemade ice cream with pie.
