Body Kansas Severe Weather Awareness Week is March 3rd through March 7th. So take this coming week to refresh yourself on what to do about hazards like tornadoes, damaging winds, large hail, and flash flooding, all of which inevitably impact Kansas yearly.

Body The seventh annual Production Sale at the Heartland Regional Stockyards in Plainville will be held on Monday, March 10th, starting at 1:00 p.m. A complimentary lunch will begin at 11:00 a.m.

Body Gather 25 at the Stockton Methodist Church of Restoration (204 North Elm) is this Friday, February 28th and Saturday, March 1st. This worldwide church meeting to pray, worship, repent, and be commissioned is open to EVERYONE!

Body There will be a Public Meeting on Monday, March 3rd, at 5:00 p.m. at the Stockton USD #271 District Office at 421 Main Street to gather information from the community about moving the District Offices into the school buildings.

Body The menus for the week beginning Monday, February 17, are as follows: Monday—Chicken strips, mashed potatoes and gravy, broccoli, bread, peaches. Tuesday—Shepherd’s pie, Scandinavian vegetables, bread, mixed fruit.

Body The regular monthly meeting of the Rooks County Health Center Board of Directors will be held on Tuesday, February 25th, at 6:00 p.m. in the hospital’s meeting room. The public is encouraged to attend.
