Body The annual Solomon Valley Pheasants Forever Banquet is set for Saturday, April 5th at the St. Thomas Parish Center (804 Main Street) in Stockton.

Body A Town Hall meeting with Senator Rick Billinger, Senator Elaine Bowers, and Representative Ken Rahjes will be held on Tuesday, April 1st, at the Stockton City Building (115 South Walnut) from 1:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m.

Body The St. Thomas Knights of Columbus will host a Fish Fry this Friday, March 28th, at the St. Thomas Parish Center. Serving starts at 5:00 p.m. and will run until the food is gone, so come early! This is a Free Will donation event. Everybody is welcome!

Body The Kansas Department of Transportation plans to close 3.5 miles of U.S. 281 for Osborne County for reconstruction starting Monday, March 17.

Body There will be a government surplus commodities distribution on Monday, July 22nd, for those in the Stockton and Plainville areas. The distribution will be held in Stockton on Monday, March 24th, from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the VFW Hall.

Body The menus for the week beginning Monday, March 24, are as follows: Monday—Chicken strips, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, bread, tropical fruit. Tuesday— Hamburger patty with lettuce, tomato, and onion, macaroni salad, bun, applesauce.

Body The regular monthly meeting of the Rooks County Health Center Board of Directors will be held on Tuesday, March 25th, at 6:00 p.m. in the hospital’s meeting room. The public is encouraged to attend.
