All Rooks County businesses are welcome to attend the Rooks County Business Awards, Business Appreciation, & Leadership Recognition event as a token of appreciation for all you do for the community.

To help everyone with their holiday gift shopping, the Stockton Pharmacy will be open on Saturdays in December from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The Stockton sixth-throughtwelfth- grade Christmas program will be held on Monday, December 15th, at 7:00 p.m., in the Stockton High School Gym. Be sure to plan and attend this musical evening of festive Christmas music by the young ladies and gentlemen this holiday season.

Everyone is invited to gather around the table for fellowship and comfort food at the Stockton Methodist Church of Restoration Community Advent Lunch on Thursday, December 11th, at the Fellowship Hall (204 North Elm Street). The informal lunch is Come & Go from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

The Stockton Medical Clinic will not be open on Friday, December 19th, and Friday, December 26th, to see patients. The Lobby will be open to accept payment and to schedule appointments.

The menus for the Walker Senior Center for the week beginning Monday, December 8, are as follows: Monday—Taco burger with lettuce, tomato, and cheese, mixed vegetables, bun, mixed fruit. Tuesday—Ham slice, mashed potatoes and gravy, winter blend vegetables, dinner roll, cranberry fluff.

Monday—Sausage biscuit, sliced pears, juice, milk. Tuesday—Frudel, fresh carrots, mixed fruit, milk.

The Third Annual Cowboy Christmas Poetry Gathering at the Rooks County Historical Society and Museum's Western Kansas Reading Room will take place this Sunday, December 7th, at 2:00 p.m.

It’s time once again for the Holiday Mall at Stockton City Hall (115 South Walnut) this Saturday, December 6th. The doors will be open from 9:00 a.m.
