Bring your family and friends to the Stockton Senior Center's Soup & Dessert Supper on Monday, February 9th, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

The Succession Planning Workshop is set for Thursday, March 12th at the Rooks County Golf Course Clubhouse (1935 US-183 north of Plainville/south of Stockton). The event, which is FREE to attend, will be held from 5:30 p.m.

Staff, parents, and community members of Plainville are invited to attend the upcoming USD 270 Community Engagement & Information Nights to learn more, ask questions, and stay informed.

The Rooks County Conservation District’s 77th annual meeting is set for Monday, February 9th. The meeting will be held in the Stockton High School Practice Gym to begin at 6:30 p.m.

This week, the Sentinel-Times is excited to announce the debut of a brand-new column sure to bring smiles across Rooks County: Sentinel-Times Laugh Lines. You’ll find it on the editorial page (Page 2), right where you look for thoughtprovoking commentary and lively discussion.

The menus for the Rooks County Senior Centers for the week beginning Monday, January 5, are as follows: Monday— Beef frank, cheesy broccoli, bread, applesauce. Tuesday—Chili, winter blend vegetables, cinnamon roll, peaches.

Just a reminder to help with your last minute Christmas shopping that the Stockton Pharmacy will be open this Saturday, December 20th from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The Stockton Medical Clinic will not be open on Friday, December 19th, and Friday, December 26th, to see patients. The Lobby will be open to accept payment and to schedule appointments.

Everyone is invited to gather around the table for fellowship and comfort food at the Stockton Methodist Church of Restoration Community Advent Lunch on Friday, December 19th, at the Fellowship Hall (204 North Elm Street). The informal lunch is Come & Go from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

The Farmers National Bank (306 South Cedar Street in Stockton) will host its Holiday Open House next Tuesday, December 16th, during regular business hours from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
