Body The Stockton Area Chamber of Commerce membership meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 9 at the Stockton Pizza Hut. The Social will be at 5:15 p.m. with the meeting to start at 5:30 p.m. Please note the change of time!

Body The National Weather Service in Hastings is hosting “virtual” Severe Weather Awareness presentations on March 1st, 3rd, 9th, 11th, 22nd, 23rd and 24th. Each session will begin at 7:00 p.m.

Body Last week Wolters Auction and Realty out of Portis advertised a farmland auction for the Clifford Roach Trust which was to be held on March 8. Please note that this auction has been canceled as the land has already been sold privately.

Body The regular monthly meeting of the Rooks County Health Center board of directors will be held Tuesday, February 23, at 6:00 p.m. in the hospital’s meeting room.

Body There will be a government surplus commodities distribution on Monday, February 22nd for those in the Plainville and Stockton areas. Plainville will hold its distribution on Monday, February 22nd from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m.
