Swing Into Summer Festival CAR SHOW next weekend!
June 18th and 19th
Start up your engines for two big days of the annual Swing into Summer Festival CAR SHOW coming to Stockton next weekend on Friday, June 18th and Saturday, June 19th! There are a lot of activities planned that you won’t want to miss, so here’s the rundown!
On Friday, June 18th, the ever-popular Cruise Night will begin and will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Main Street will be lined with food vendors and school groups selling their wares and delicious snacks, so bring your lawn chairs, find a nice spot and enjoy, not only the fabulous cars, motorcycles and trucks that will be cruising Main, but visiting with friends and family while buying a few snacks to eat! (And cruisers, please remember to follow the traffic rules. Use your turn signals, stay within the speed limit, watch for pedestrians, etc.! The Stockton Rodders, Inc. strongly discourage the public using water boxes along the cruise route.)
Then on Saturday, June 19th starting at 7:30 a.m., enjoy Breakfast at the Shelter House at the City Park (located on Hwy. 24, west of the stoplights, straight south of the high school football field). Please support the Class of 2022 at this fundraiser!
Registration of the vehicles for the Car Show will begin at 8:00 a.m. at the booth by the soccer fields. A bright yellow banner will mark the location.
Then throughout the day from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. enjoy the Bounce Houses that will be set up at the park as well as try your luck at Chicken Bingo and the raffles or pick up a Kids Packet at the tent set up by the Shelter House. Enjoy walking around the park and checking out the cool cars positioned under the canopy of shade trees while listening to some great rock ‘n roll music. And let’s not forget the many vendors who will be out and about selling their unique merchandise and all sorts of food as another added attraction to this fun weekend!
