Body The regular monthly meeting of the Rooks County Health Center Board of Directors will be held on Tuesday, October 25th at 6:00 p.m. in the hospital’s meeting room. The public is encouraged to attend.

Body The menus for the week beginning Monday, October 24, are as follows: Monday—Chicken strips, sweet potato casserole, peas, bread, pineapple. Tuesday—Chili, cinnamon roll, crackers, tropical fruit. Wednesday—Little smokies, baked potato, beets, bread, pears.

Body VFW Post 8873 Monroe-Taylor-Barnes Post resolved at the September meeting to undertake the project of collecting applications for veteran service recognition certificates.

Body Please note that the annual Stockton FFA Goblin’s Glory extravaganza will be held on Thursday, October 20th, in the gyms of Stockton High School. This date is different than what was printed on the school calendar, so make plans to attend this night of spooky fun.

Body The Stockton FFA Fruit and Food Sales are being held now and will continue through Monday, October 31st. If you have not been contacted by an FFA member and wish to order, please call FFA Sponsor Shane Austin at 785-432-1057 or email him at saustin@usd271.com before the deadline.

Body Just a reminder that the Stockton Food Pantry is open next Thursday, October 20th from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The Food Pantry is located at 602 Main Street in the building behind the Main Street Christian Church Parsonage.
