Fourth annual Christmas in Alton this Saturday
It’s time for the fourth annual Christmas in Alton this Saturday, Dec. 3rd. The festivities begin at 3:00 p.m. and will end at 5:00 p.m. with the 21st annual Chocolate Festival at the Front Porch Event Center.
There will be games and youth activities at the Alton Firehouse from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. for boys and girls from ages 5 through 18. The Bull City Gun Shop and Craft Basket will also be open during the festivities, so drop on buy!
Then at 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. there will be a Soup/ Sandwich Supper at Hardman Hall. Christmas Caroling in Downtown Alton will start at 6:00 p.m. with the Christmas Lighting Ceremony scheduled for 6:15 p.m.
And the big man himself, Santa, will be in town following the Lighting Ceremony to take pictures with the boys and girls with popcorn, hot chocolate and prize drawings. And remember to bring your “Letters to Santa.” There will be a special mailbox set up to send your letters to the North Pole!
