ONYX ALLEN, son of Ryan and Holly Allen of Plainvile, was dressed for the occasion! Like all the others who participated in the Sigma Phi ESA Easter Egg Hunt, his basket was filled with lots of goodies when he headed for home.

HALLIE RIFFEL, daughter of Jake and Trina Riffel of Gypsum, was all smiles when she heard the go-ahead to begin the hunt! Over 1,700 eggs were hidden for the youngsters to find. Hallie is the granddaughter of Terry Cikanek of Stockton.

Can you think of any events in your lifetime that have had worldwide repercussions? We talked about a few of these on Sunday and here are some that came to mind: COVID 19, World War II, 9/11, and Apollo landing on the moon. All these events had a huge impact on the world. However, no event in world history had the worldwide repercussions that we remember and celebrate on Easter Sunday.

The 2021-2022 recipient of the Wilbur Hartzler Scholarship is Logan Winklepleck, a Stockton High School graduate. Logan is a freshman at Fort Hays State University majoring in Biology.
