Stanley John “Stan” Mayers, 65, Hays, passed away Saturday, July 27, 2024 at HaysMed. He was born May 19, 1959, in Osborne, the son of Raymond and Laurine (Krier) Mayers. In 1977, he graduated from Osborne High School and then attended Fort Hays State University, earning a bachelor's in Accounting.

Lifelong Phillips County resident, Lee Taylor, passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney, Neb. at the age of 88. He was born February 1, 1936, in Phillips County, KS, the son of Hobart and Geneva (Ragsdale) Taylor. He was a farmer and rancher.

With heavy hearts, we bid farewell to Aiden Ray Sherraden, a beloved son, cherished brother, uncle, cousin, and a young soul who touched the lives of all who knew him.

Steven Thomas DeRosear passed away on April 10, 2024, at Advent Hospital in Littleton, Colorado at the age of 53. He was born November 3, 1970, in Madison, Wisconsin, to Tom and Ann DeRosear. Steve grew up in Oklahoma, New Mexico, and Colorado.

Ralph R. “Bob” Lambert, of Stockton, passed away on May 3, 2024, at HaysMed in Hays, at the age of 82. He was born on July 23, 1941, to Elton and Mildred (Opdyke) Lambert in Stockton. He married Pansy Holliday on February 15, 1962, in Stockton. They were blessed with two children: Robbie and Fay.

Norma Jean (LaBarge) Wasinger, 84, of Hays, passed away on Thursday, July 4, 2024, at Logan County Senior Living in Oakley. She was born on Aug. 2, 1939, in Rooks County, the oldest child of Phillip and Edmae (Desbien) LaBarge. Norma graduated from Damar High School in 1958. She married R.

Kendall L. Nichols Sr., 83, passed away Friday, July 12, 2024, at his home in Smith Center. He was born on December 13, 1940, in Rooks County, Kansas, the son of Levi James and Mary Leona (McReynolds) Nichols. On June 5, 1960, he married Hazel Hays in Gaylord, Kansas.

Dale Gene Eaton, 67, passed away suddenly but peacefully at home on July 8, 2024, in rural Palco, Kansas. A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at 11:00 a.m., with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. before the service at Red Line Church of God, 3804 H Road in Palco.

Patricia (Riley) McCue, of Grand Island, Neb., passed away on July 8, 2024, at Tabitha at Prairie Commons in Grand Island, Nebraska, at the age of 80. She was born on March 5, 1944, in Wilmington, Delaware to Michael Jr. and Patricia (Smith) Riley.
