Norma Jean (LaBarge) Wasinger

Norma Jean (LaBarge) Wasinger, 84, of Hays, passed away on Thursday, July 4, 2024, at Logan County Senior Living in Oakley.

She was born on Aug. 2, 1939, in Rooks County, the oldest child of Phillip and Edmae (Desbien) LaBarge.

Norma graduated from Damar High School in 1958. She married R. Roger Wasinger in 1967.

Surviving are her siblings Marvin (Rosanne) LaBarge, Oakley, Ron (Caryn) LaBarge, Libby, Mont., and Phyllis (Tom) Neill, Wichita; and nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Michael LaBarge in 2014 and her husband in 2015.

Family and friends will gather in Hays on Saturday afternoon, July 20, at 1:00 p.m. for a Rosary at St. Joseph Church. Inurnment will immediately follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Hays.
