The Rooks County Commission met with Chuck Comeau at their weekly meeting on Tuesday, February 14th, who was present for a follow- up meeting dealing with the recent request of $75,000.00 for Redbud Village. Commissioner Tim Berland said it was his priority to transfer the facility to Plainville.

The possibility of changing to another league was discussed at the Stockton School Board meeting held on Monday, February 13th. The Board had previously held a special meeting where they voted to allow the administrators to explore league options for the District.

Twelve members of Western Plains Painters met at the Palco Township Hall on Saturday, February 18th. Sherry Robinson gave instructions and showed a video to the club about using good compositional principles in setting up Still Life Vignettes for painting. The members practiced using the guidelines to set up a variety of Vignettes in various ways.
