The possibility of having a pep bus available to the public for a small fee when the District has a driver has been proposed, with the students having priority to travel to the sporting event. Some things would remain the same with Stockton partnering with Plainville for softball. The District could choose the wrestling tournaments they would attend. They could also host league tournaments. The biggest takeaway would be that junior high wrestling and basketball would be a dual sport since the NPL’s basketball season continues after the Christmas Break. Hoeting also noted that Stockton is one of the MCL’s smaller schools, and he understands the ties to the league.

Safety Day held on March 8th

It was a day for Safety on Wednesday, March 8th, when the third and fourth-grade students from Stockton, Damar, Plainville, and Sacred Heart participated in the Progressive Agriculture Safety Day at the Rooks County Fairgrounds. Everyone gathered in the Harding Hall 4-H building, with local volunteers providing safety presentations.
THE THIRD-GRADE AND FOURTH-GRADE STUDENTS from Stockton, Damar, Plainville, and Sacred Heart participated in a Safety Day program at the Rooks County Fairgrounds on Wednesday, March 8th. The Progressive Agriculture Foundation sponsored the event.

The Stockton Grade School music students attended the MCEL Music Festival at TMP in Hays on Wednesday, March 1. For their musical efforts, there was nothing lower than a II Rating for their performances.

Special school board meeting held concerning class schedules

A special school board meeting was held on Thursday evening, March 9th, to review high school class schedules. At the start of the session, high school principal Lindsay Cravens talked about the high school building leadership team who worked on the schedules. She noted that the teachers want to do what is best for all students and promote higher learning, so they wrote up two high school schedules to present to the school board members.

County begins sale process of Redbud Village and Estates

During the Rooks County Commission meeting held on Tuesday, March 7th, commissioners Kayla Hilbrink, Tim Berland, and John Ruder voted to approve the public sale of the County's property at 1000 South Washington Street (Redbud Village and Estates) in Plainville. Publication notices will be printed in the County newspaper three times as required.
