Body Submitted by Bill Scala The Tuesday night men's playing group played a 3-man scramble on the 29th. Twenty-three guys braved the hot weather. The winning team was Chase, Parker, and Trent. They shot eight under for the nine holes, just one short of the record of nine under.

Forty-four Sharks swimmers earn a trip to the Championship Meet

Body The Stockton Tiger Sharks Swim Team traveled to Alma, Neb., on Saturday, July 9, to compete in the all-important Qualifying Meet. Forty Sharks swimmers participated in 103 Individual events and 22 Relays, bringing home 23 First-Place awards in Individual Events and 15 in Relays.

Body The Tuesday night men’s playing group played a 3-Man Scramble on the 22nd. The steady Kansas wind kept the temperature bearable and made shot-making interesting. Three teams tied at five under. AZ and David won the hole prizes that Crawford Supply sponsored.

Body Submitted by Bill Scala The Tuesday night men’s playing group hosted twenty-five players despite the high temperatures. They played a Three-Man Scramble. The first-place team was Steve, David, and Chris with a score of 7 under.

Body Stockton’s Balthazor girls instrumental in win The Plainville K-18 Girls Softball Team captured its third consecutive state title, winning the 6th annual K-18 Fastpitch Softball State Tournament held July 12-13 in Lucas.

Tiger Sharks finish regular season swim meet schedule

Body The Stockton Tiger Shark Swim Team concluded their regular season schedule by traveling to Alma, Neb., on Saturday, June 28, to compete in the Alma Swim Meet. The Sharks sent 42 swimmers and came home with 24 first-place finishes (11 Individual and 13 Relays).

Rooks County Golf Update

Body Clear skies and low winds brought out the largest turnout of the year for the Tuesday night men’s playing group. Thirty-two players played a 4-man “shamble” on the 1st. Two teams tied for first place with scores of 66.
