Submitted by Bill Scala The Tuesday night men's playing group played a 3-man scramble on the 29th. Twenty-three guys braved the hot weather. The winning team was Chase, Parker, and Trent. They shot eight under for the nine holes, just one short of the record of nine under. Dan won the Longest Putt On #5, and Lennox won Closest To The Pin On #8. Reed Farm LLC sponsored the hole prizes. The Tuesday night men's group and the Wednesday night women's group tee off around 6:00 p.m.

The Stockton Tiger Sharks Swim Team traveled to Alma, Neb., on Saturday, July 9, to compete in the all-important Qualifying Meet. Forty Sharks swimmers participated in 103 Individual events and 22 Relays, bringing home 23 First-Place awards in Individual Events and 15 in Relays.

The Tuesday night men’s playing group played a 3-Man Scramble on the 22nd. The steady Kansas wind kept the temperature bearable and made shot-making interesting. Three teams tied at five under. AZ and David won the hole prizes that Crawford Supply sponsored. The Tuesday night men’s group tees off around 6:00 p.m.

Submitted by Bill Scala The Tuesday night men’s playing group hosted twenty-five players despite the high temperatures. They played a Three-Man Scramble. The first-place team was Steve, David, and Chris with a score of 7 under. Sponsored by Farmers National Bank, the Closest To The Pin prize on # 8 and Longest Putt On #2 went to Chris Teeter. The Tuesday night men’s group tees off around 6:00 p.m.

Stockton’s Balthazor girls instrumental in win The Plainville K-18 Girls Softball Team captured its third consecutive state title, winning the 6th annual K-18 Fastpitch Softball State Tournament held July 12-13 in Lucas. The team clinched the championship with a thrilling 13-10 victory over Osborne in the final game.

The Stockton Tiger Shark Swim Team concluded their regular season schedule by traveling to Alma, Neb., on Saturday, June 28, to compete in the Alma Swim Meet. The Sharks sent 42 swimmers and came home with 24 first-place finishes (11 Individual and 13 Relays).

Clear skies and low winds brought out the largest turnout of the year for the Tuesday night men’s playing group. Thirty-two players played a 4-man “shamble” on the 1st. Two teams tied for first place with scores of 66. Sponsored by Farm Implement & Supply, the Longest Putt On #7 went to Parker Krob. John Ruder and David Read tied for the Longest Putt On #3. The Tuesday night men’s group tees off around 6:00 p.m.

The third week of competition for the Stockton Tiger Sharks found the team traveling north to Philipsburg on Saturday, June 21. At this meet, the Sharks sent 48 swimmers who competed in 116 individual events and 32 relays.

Kacen Sederstrom, a 2025 graduate of Goodland High School, capped off a very successful high school career, receiving several post-season baseball honors. The great-grandson of former Stockton resident Judy (Hamilton) Helm was recently recognized as the GWAC (Great West Activities Conference) Baseball Player of the Year and named First Team All League.
