The Stockton Tigers hosted Rawlins County last Friday at Tiger Stadium where the home team was defeated 56-0. This Friday, Stockton will be on the road to Oberlin to take on the Decatur Community Red Devils. Kickoff for the game is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.

The Stockton Junior High Lady Tigers remain undefeated this season after sweeping Pike Valley in volleyball action at Stockton last Thursday. The Stockton Tiger A Team won 25-19, 25-14, as did the B Team 25-17, 17-25, 15-5, and the C Team 21-15, 21-11.

The Stockton Junior High Volleyball Team improved to 7-0 on the season after defeating both St. John’s/Tipton and Natoma at Stockton last Thursday.

Cheyenne Hoeting continues to add to her medal collection, placing 11th out of 66 competitors at the cross country meet in Norton last Thursday. Hoeting finished the 5K race with a time of 21:45.44.

The Stockton Lady Tigers split in triangular action against Sylvan/ Lucas and Thunder Ridge last Tuesday night at Stockton. The Lady Tigers fell to the Mustangs in their first match, 18-25, 15-25, but came back to down Thunder Ridge 25-14, 15-25, 2516, to move to 7-9 on the season.

Although the Stockton Tigers were defeated 6014 by the visiting Hoxie Indians last Friday night at Tiger Stadium, the home team’s effort was commendable. Throughout the 44 minutes of action on the gridiron, Stockton made several nice plays on both offense and defense, which got them to the 4:52 mark of the fourth quarter before falling by the 46-point margin.
