The Stockton Junior High Volleyball girls improved their record to 3-0 on the season after defeating Lincoln on the road last Thursday, September 18. The A-Team downed the Leopards 25-22, 25-15.

It was a tough weekend for the Stockton Lady Tiger Volleyball Team as they were defeated in all three matches they played at the tournament in WaKeeney, which Trego High School hosted. Other teams competing were Oakley, Northern Valley, Osborne, Russell, Wallace County and the host Lady Eagles.

The Stockton Lady Tigers split in volleyball action last Tuesdsay in Beloit where they defeated Pike Valley in two sets, 25-18, 25-21, but fell to St. John’s/Tipton 17-25, 11-25.

The SJH Tigers will be on the road to Mankato this Thursday to take on Rock Hills in Pike Trails League volleyball and football action. The volleyball matches begin at 4:00 p.m., and the football game at 6:00 p.m.

Cheyenne Hoeting placed fourth at the cross country meet held last Thursday at the Rooks County Golf Course, and hosted by Stockton. Hoeting finished the 5K race with a time of 22:39.01.
