William Eugene “Bill” Polzin, age 74, of Hoisington, passed away October 4, 2021, at Clara Barton Hospital, Hoisington, with his wife Christine at his side, along with many wonderful doctors and nurses.
He was born June 9, 1947, in Hoisington, the son of Matt and Irene (Reif) Polzin.
Edna “Eddie” Lucille Delaney, age 88, passed away on October 27, 2021, in Plainville.
She was born on November 23, 1932, in Hill City, Kan., to W. Troy and Maggie (Rippen) Walker.
Donna Jean (Stevenson) Gosser, Codell, passed away on October 27, 2021, at the Rooks County Health Center in Plainville, Kansas at the age of 84.
She was born on February 28, 1937, to Edgar and Helen (Spiehs) Stevenson in Grand Island, Nebraska. She was united in marriage to Allen Lee Gosser on September 13, 1958, in Grand Island, Nebraska. The couple were blessed with three children: Connie Jo, Lorrie and Robert.
Brandon Allen Deutscher passed away suddenly at his home in Plainville, Kansas on October 25, 2021, at the age of 42.
He was born to Stan and Linda (Kreutzer) Deutscher on October 13, 1979, in Plainville, Kansas.
Brandon, lovingly known as “Uncle Bam Bam,” attended Plainville schools and graduated from Plainville High School with the Class of 1997. He went to work as a welder after high school until his health prohibited him from working. He was shy and introverted until he got to know you, and then he was a prankster and loved to make you laugh.
Dale William McConchie, age 85, of Plainville, was called to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, March 12, 2020, where he was surrounded by family at the Wagoner Care Center in Wagoner, Oklahoma.
Dale was born May 1, 1934, on the Saline in Ellis County to and Stella (Carmichael) McConchie. He was a graduate of Plainville and a lifelong resident of the area.
Judith A. Peavey, Plainville, passed away on October 21, 2021, at the Hays Medical Center in Hays, Kansas at the age of 79.
She was born on May 13, 1942, to Delmer and Virginia (Thompson) Carmichael in Hays. She was united in marriage to her high school sweetheart, Ronald J. Peavey, on August 21, 1960, at the United Methodist Church in Plainville, Kansas. The couple was blessed with three children: Mike, Kelly, and Shelly.
Gary L. Johnson, age 74, of Oakley, Kansas entered God’s Kingdom on Friday, October 15th, 2021 at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Kansas City, MO.
Alice L. Paulson, 90, passed away on Wednesday, September 29, 2021, at her home in Wichita Falls, Texas.
She was born April 7, 1931, in Stockton, Kansas, the daughter of Maude Irene (Waugh) and Charles Carroll Pratt. She graduated from Stockton High School in Stockton, Kansas in 1949.
