The Dane G. Hansen Foundation of Logan, Kansas has named 272 high school seniors from 59 Northwest Kansas schools as winners in its 45th annual scholarship competition.
The Stockton Lions Club will be hosting a St. Patty’s Day Pancake Brunch on Sunday, March 15th at the Stockton City Hall. This Free Will donation event will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Proceeds will go towards the SHS Awards Banquet and scholarships. See you there!
The Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) is confirming its first presumptive-positive case of COVID-19 in Kansas. The possible case was identified March 7th with testing sent to KDHE’s Kansas Health and Environmental Laboratories (KHEL).
On Friday, March 6, at approximately 3:00 a.m., Rooks County Sheriff’s Office assistance was requested by the Hays Police Department for a vehicle pursuit that began in Hays.
At the regular meeting of the Stockton City Commission, held on Tuesday, March 3rd, the commissioners voted to donate $1,500.00 out of the transient sales tax fund to the 23rd annual Spring Livestock Show that will be held on the Sunday of Memorial Weekend.
