The Rooks County 4-H Council met on November 10, 2025. Vice President Skylar Amlong called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. Bridgette Axelson led the Pledge of Allegiance. Daylen Beesley led the 4-H Pledge. Eli Atkisson gave the Treasurer's Report.

Last week, we talked about Paul's journey through Athens, Greece, preaching the news of the one true God. Athens was a cultural, philosophical, and educational center at the time, and Paul had a receptive audience.

Saturday was not a good day for either KU or KSU, even though I was confident the Wildcats would win until Utah pulled ahead in the end. On Sunday, the Chiefs struggled but won in overtime.

Happy Sunday! I'm writing to you from a state of utter exhaustion, folks! That's right, I've lovingly sacrificed my beloved Sunday nap for a flurry of festive activity at the Methodist of snoozing when you can be hanging wreaths and stringing lights instead? Not me, that's for sure.
