Body TITANIC. We all know the sad story. The ship that, "not even God can sink," set off on its maiden voyage on April 10, 1912 with about 2,224 passengers and crew on board. The fateful moment took place four days later at 11:40 p.m.

Body THE TWELVE NEW POWDER-COATED MAIN STREET BENCHES, constructed by Leon’s Welding of Hays, arrived and are now a wonderful addition to Stockton’s downtown. The design of the benches has places for the tree plaques to be installed on them at a later date.

Body Dan and Michele Melton, Walton, spent the weekend with Steve and Linda Melton, coming to help work calves and rounding up the cattle to A.I. After church at Cedar and dinner on Sunday, a little rodeo was had, removing a bull from the neighbor’s pasture.

Body Danielle Muir’s name needs to be added to the list of those candidates filing for a spot on the August Primary ballot. Muir is seeking reelection to the office of Rooks County Attorney.

Body The menus for the week beginning Monday, June 15, are as follows: Monday—Swiss steak with tomatoes, rice, green beans, bread, mixed fruit. Tuesday—Pasta salad with ham, strawberries and bananas, crackers, pudding.
