Superintent Bill Lowry to serve as high school boys basketball head coach

Body
After the Stockton USD 271 Board of Education members, along with superintendent Bill Lowry, high school principal Lindsay Cravens and grade school principal Stacey Green returned to open session following the executive sessions held to discuss supplemental contracts, it was announced that the Board approved Bill Lowry as the high school boys head basketball coach, Jalen Basart as assistant football coach, Rebecca Gray as the school play sponsor, Jessica Billinger as the sophomore class sponsor, and Andrea Dix, Andrea Graham, Jenny Niblock and Michelle Towery for the District Leadership team. Before the session held on Monday, August 9th, the Board had discussed the low number of students (11) who had expressed interest in going out for boys basketball this season. The Board wanted to make sure the program is offered to the students, with the hope that more students decide to go out for the sport.
